• Gwinnett officers rescue child with autism from sewer drain (accesswdun.com) — Gwinnett County officers recently rescued a 5-year-old boy with autism who went missing from Peachtree Ridge Park off Suwanee Creek Road and crawled hundreds of feet into a sewer drain. After a 40-minute search, officers followed clues near a retention pond, entered the drain system, and safely removed the child without injuries. 
• Over 60,000 pounds of chicken shipped to restaurants nationwide recalled (mlive.com) — A Suwanee-based company, Suzanna’s Kitchen, has recalled over 62,000 pounds of fully cooked breaded chicken it shipped to restaurants nationwide because soy wasn’t listed on the label. While no illnesses are reported, federal food safety officials urge restaurants to check freezers and discard any affected cases rather than serve them.
