Friday

Epidemic Theatre Presents Big Show Small Box

What: Join the club for an evening of ballroom dancing. The band will be Junction, and the theme is Country/Western.

Saturday

 
What: Presented by Dreamland Pet Memorial Center and hosted by Keep Kennesaw Beautiful and Georgia K9 NTC, the 2nd annual Paws in the Park is fun for the whole family - including the family dog!

What: The 2012 Art & Design Show House benefiting the Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art will showcase the talent of 28 interior designers and decorators in 21 rooms at the 5,500 square foot home of Dr. William K Farrar and his wife Debbie Farrar. The terrace level art gallery will feature the work of several local artists from around the southeast.

When: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Marietta StreetFest 
What: a one-day event with a top-notch arts & crafts market and antique alley, the Family Fun Zone, the Hubcaps and History Classic Car Show, Trash or Treasure (a verbal approximation by a local antiques expert that lets people know what they truly have), fresh produce at the Marietta Square Farmers Market and a chance to visit the delightful neighborhood restaurants, shops and historic sites found around the Square. The Marietta Grassroots Festival will provide music featuring original sounds.  Visitors the day of StreetFest will also receive free admission to the Marietta Museum of History.

Taste of Smyrna
What: Sample the best of the city’s cuisine while you enjoy live music and a fireworks show.
Where: Downtown Smyrna
When: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Cost: Admission is free. Samples range from 50 cents to $4.

 
What: An all day outdoor smooth jazz festival featuring national and international smooth jazz recording artists. Theis year's event will be headlined by The Sax Pack (Jeff Kashiwa-Steve Cole-Marcus Anderson) with Brian Simpson, Jeff Golub, Marc Antione, Matt Marshak, Jeanette Harris and Kevin Griffin.

When: 1:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Cost: Tickets start at $30
