Acworth Man Accused Of Stabbing Step-Sister
Authorities say he stabbed his step-sister and ran away. With the help of K9s, he was found within two hours.

The Cherokee Sheriff's Office arrested a man accused of stabbing his step-sister Saturday, Feb. 9. Tyler Holloway, 31, of Acworth, is facing several charges including battery and cruelty to children.
A release from the sheriff's office says deputies responded to an "unknown trouble" call Saturday off Pine Branches Court in the Acworth area.
When they arrived, deputies found Carissa Mills, 33, of Acworth, with multiple stab wounds. She was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities say they determined it was Holloway, who had run away.
Deputies and K9 units searched the area, finding Holloway within two hours. He was behind a home on New Hope Road near the Cherokee-Bartow county line, the release says.

Holloway is being charged several times under the Family Violence Act, including aggravated assault, aggravated battery, battery and aggravated stalking. He also faces charges of cruelty to children in the first and third degrees.
He was taken to the Cherokee Adult Detention Center and is being held without bond.
