"Our Tagalog neighbors will be happy to know that, during the month of May, we are coming to their homes to bring some good news," Joaquin Navalta, local Tagalog Jehovah's Witness in Keaau relates. "Even though Covid has died down, it seems like we are all still suffering from Covid fatigue. And we all need some good news with so much bad news out there. That's why our Tagalog community will be happy to know that 100 or more Tagalog speaking Jehovah's Witness are coming from the mainland to share good news with our neighbors here on the Big Island. For some time now Jehovah's Witnesses have limited their door to door ministry because of love of neighbor. We didn't want to spread the virus," says Navalta. "But now that things are really opening up, we are making a real effort to share the Bible's message that the things we are now going through, including sickness, natural disasters, war, and even death will be a thing of the past in the near future."
