5-Year-Old Fruitland Boy Missing

FRUITLAND, ID — The search is on for a 5-year-old boy, missing since Tuesday, in Fruitland.

Michael Joseph Vaughan was last seen near SW 9th Street and S Arizona Ave. in Fruitland around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. He was wearing a light blue shirt with a Minecraft picture on it, dark blue boxer briefs and sandals.

Neighbors were asked to search their properties and a search dog and helicopters were called in Wednesday morning.

Vaughan is 3' 07" and weighs 50 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He answers to the nickname "Monkey."
