Across Idaho: Three Dead In Kamiah Motel Shooting
Three people are dead after a shooting at the Sundown Motel in Kamiah, Idaho. The names of the victims have not been released.

KAMIAH, ID — A shooting at a small motel has left three people dead in a small Idaho town situated along the Clearwater River.
Law enforcement were called to the Sundown Motel in Kamiah, Idaho at approximately 5 p.m. Monday. Upon arrival, three people were found dead.

As of Monday night, there is no confirmation on the status of the suspect in this incident, or if the suspect is one of the three listed as deceased.
However, Lewis County Sheriff Jason Davis did notify the public no active threat existed and no adjoining businesses were locked down. Traffic on U.S. Highway 12 remained open and those staying at the motel were allowed to obtain belongings in their rooms and leave.

Law enforcement, including the Idaho County Sheriff's Office, Nez Perce Tribal Police, Idaho State Police and the FBI remained throughout the night processing the crime scene.
