  1. Day 13 of the Lori Vallow Daybell trial in Boise centered around the death of Vallow Daybell's first husband, Charles Vallow. EastIdahoNews reporter Nate Eaton reports Vallow Daybell attempted to collect on a $1 million life insurance policy only to discover she had been removed as beneficiary. A nanny hired by Vallow Daybell took the stand in the morning, testifying she was informed Charles Vallow died of a heart attack. Another witness testifies of visions of China and Russia invading the United States and a one-world government. This same witness states Chad Daybell told him Tammy Daybell, then his wife, would soon die. (eastidahonews)
  2. Children in Meridian have a reason to celebrate. CBS2 news staff write Bear Creek Park in Meridian is receiving a new playground, complete with a soft-fall surface. The old equipment is currently being removed. (Idaho News)
  3. Two companies are duking it out to be Boise's e-bike and e-scooter provider. BoiseDev reporter Autum Robertson writes Lime and Bird each want the City of Boise's sole contract. Lime originally won the bid; Bird filed an appeal with the city. (boisedev)
  4. Boise Patch reported the arrest of a Boise school teacher to followers in your email. KIVI-TV's Christinna Bautista reports parents are now coming forward choosing to pull their children out of Fairmont Junior High due to safety concerns. Bautista also reports the arrest centered around an investigation of an incident in 2020 involving one minor child. (Idaho News 6 Boise Twin Falls)
  5. The centerpiece of our city is high and soon to be higher. KTVB-TV staff report the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Bureau of Reclamation increased flows in the Boise River Friday and in the next few weeks, residents could see as much as 6,500 cubic feet per second (cfs). The river reservoirs are now at 62 percent capacity with much snow still left to melt. (KTVB)
