Boise, our charming little city, is turning into a tech and During the pandemic, many tech professionals found their way here, working remotely for major companies. As things started to settle down, a good chunk of them fell in love with Boise (who wouldn’t?) and chose to make it home. Now, our local web design agencies and tech start-ups are benefitting big time from all this talent flowing in.

And here’s something to cheer about: Boise State (yes, our very own BSU) has become a magnet for budding tech enthusiasts and web designers. From just a few grads in design and computer science a decade ago, now they’re graduating over 100 every year! Even better? Most of them are sticking around, diving into our growing tech scene.

Had a chat with a friend at Neckar coffee the other day. He’s super upbeat about how welcoming Idaho has been for businesses. Major companies like Micron are investing big in Boise, and there’s word about Meta setting up in Kuna.

Feels like every week there’s some exciting new announcement! With tech salaries becoming more consistent nationwide, I genuinely think Boise’s attractiveness will only go up. It’s such an exciting time for our city, and I can’t wait to see where this takes us.
