Cash Abundance + Escaped Inmate + Found Teen
The Boise Daily is here for a new week with new stories, new pictures of the capital city and new events for you to attend.

A new week translates to new stories and new things to do in Boise. Today's edition starts with good news — a possible tax cut and a missing teen is found. Switching to unhappiness, an Idaho inmate apparently was not pleased with his living conditions and departed without permission. Staying with incarceration, take a video tour of the old Idaho Pen.
Taking a look at the weather today:
- Tuesday: Partly cloudy throughout the day. Temps: High of 82° & low of 52°.

2. Two state agencies cannot seem to agree on the number of children within the state who had COVID-19 during the school year. 3. Apparently, Felipe Pacheco Garcia was unhappy with the reentry facility where the Idaho inmate was housed. Per staff at KTVB, the Idaho Department of Correction is asking the public for help in locating the missing felon. (KTVB)
4. Neighbors and residents were told a park was just around the corner. Included in the plans were baseball fields, a play area, and a dog area. Now, the land is up for auction at a starting bid of $5 million. Rachel Spacek of the Idaho Statesman explains why plans went south. (Idaho Statesman)
5. Felipe Pacheco Garcia (see story #3) may have been unhappy with the reentry facility, but conditions were a bit worse for those that lived at the Old Idaho Penitentiary. About me: My grandmother raised her family on Walnut Street, just off Warm Springs Avenue. She had an old, two bedroom home for many years along with a little acreage to grow a garden and a huge apple tree. Returning to that site now, hard to imagine her home every stood there.
