Concert Lineup Released By Western Idaho Fair

There will be a concert for all musical tastes at this year's Western Idaho Fair.

BOISE, ID — The Western Idaho Fair released the concert schedule for the upcoming fair and the musical tastes offered should satisfy everyone.

Granger Smith appears Monday, August 23 starting at 7:30 p.m. Known as the Yee Yee Nation pack leader, Smith is best known for his country song, 'Country Things'.

Nelly hits the stage on Tuesday, August 24 with a 7 p.m. start. Cornell Iral Haynes Jr., better known as Nelly, hit the charts as a hip hop solo artist in 2000. His album, Country Grammar, hit number one on the charts along with his song, 'Ride wit Me'.

The group Chicago will appear Wednesday, August 25, also with a 7:30 p.m. start. Originally know as the Chicago Transit Authority, the group has undergone numerous changes in the lineup and is probably best know for the hit, '25 or 6 to 4'.

On Thursday, August 26, Jon Pardi hits the stage. Once again, a country singer is on the main stage with Pardi having three number one hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs.

Seether will be the final concert for the fair, appearing on Friday, August 27. A South African rock band, Seether started in 1999. The band's single, 'Broken' peaked at number 20 in 2004.

All the concerts are free with admission to the fair.
