Crash In Caldwell Results In One Death

A two-car crash on Friday ended with the death of one driver.

CALDWELL, ID — On Friday, July 16, 2021 at 2:29 pm, Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle fatal crash on westbound Centennial Way in Caldwell.

Travis J. Stroud, of Eagle, was traveling westbound on Centennial Way in a 2017 Ford F350 from the off-ramp of eastbound I84. As Stroud entered the intersection, he struck a 1995 Ford F150. The Ford F150 went off the road into oncoming traffic and then hit the guardrail. The driver of the Ford F150 succumbed to their injuries at the scene.

The driver of the Ford F150 was not wearing their seatbelt. Stroud was wearing his seatbelt.
