- The Olympic Winter Games have come to a close and KTVB-TV's Travis Pittman has the final medal count for the United States. The United States finished with 25 total medals. That's eight gold, ten silver and seven bronze. The action sports proved best for Team USA with 12 medals in snowboarding and freestyle skiing. (KTVB)
- The Boise Daily promised to keep you updated on the Chad and Lori Daybell murder case. Eric Grossarth, reporter for the East Idaho News, reports prosecutors in the murder case are making their argument to transport a jury from Ada County to Fremont County. - The weather on Sunday certainly took a change. Here is your chance to see what the rest of the week will hold courtesy of Boise Patch. (Boise Patch)
- If your weekend lacked some excitement, think about next year taking a trip up to Stanley and join KIVI-TV's Steve Dent. The 13th annual Stanley WinterFest happened this weekend in Stanley and it ended in style with their famous outhouse races. (KIVI)
- Numerous former students, including many in Boise, will receive millions in loan repayments after the U.S. Department of Education found that four private for-profit institutions made misleading claims about their job placement rates. The Idaho Capital Sun's Ariana Figueroa writes the four institutions include DeVry University, which is based in Illinois, but has 40 locations in 18 states; Westwood College, based in Colorado, which closed in 2016; ITT Nursing, based in Indiana, which filed for bankruptcy in 2016; and the Minnesota School of Business/Globe University, which closed in 2017.
