- The newest appointee to Idaho’s Central District Health Board is now facing a complaint filed by the Idaho Medical Association. In an article by Heath Druzin of Boise State Public Radio, Dr. Ryan Cole has been named in the complaint over his claim that he prescribed ivermectin for COVID-19 patients and called vaccines “needle rape.” (Boise State Public Radio)

- Join Golden Eagle Audubon and the Wednesday Morning Birders for some slow birding along the Riverwalk in Star. The overall pace is slow so that everyone gets a chance to see and enjoy every bird. This is a great opportunity to look for migrating birds and wintering waterfowl along the Boise River and nearby ponds in Star. All levels are welcome. Binoculars will be available if needed. Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. (9 a.m.)
- Join the Boise State Recreation Center for a seminar on Wednesday. Dr. Michael A. Susner is scheduled to present about a new avenue for the next generation of electronics. (9:30 a.m.)
- This year’s Senior Health & Safety Fair is on Wednesday beginning at 10 a.m. If you’re age 55+, this health fair is for you. Guest speakers will offer short presentations on topics such as resources for caregivers and scams that target seniors. Participants can also get a flu shot, have their blood pressure checked and pick up a goody bag filled with local resources, emergency tips, utility information and fun giveaways! (10 a.m.)
- The Special Events Team meets Wednesday and oversees the permitting and planning for special events and festivals in the City of Boise and hosts bi-monthly meetings to discuss event proposals between the event organizer and city departments and other agencies. Meetings typically last two hours, but can vary based on agenda. (9:30 a.m.)
- The Boise Public Library Board of Trustees regular meeting will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m., in the Marion Bingham room at the Main Library located at 715 S. Capitol Blvd. (11:30 a.m.)
