For visitors to the Ada County Courthouse, you may be putting a mask on only to take it off again depending on your destination within the building. Here are the top stories in Boise today:
- Masks are in the news again. For those with business at the Ada County Courthouse, masks may or may not be required depending on where you are going. KIVI-TV's Katie Kloppenburg clarifies the rules. (6 On Your Side)
- In the late 1950s, Ford Motor Company spent $2.19 billion in 2020 dollars on the Edsel, a cap produced for only three years. Widely considered the largest goof in automotive history, the Edsel Owners Club is in Boise this weekend with the staff of KTVB showing some great pictures of the failed car. (KTVB.com)
- It was not released until Friday, but two victims of a Boise house fire in mid-July died of their injuries in a Salt Lake hospital. (Boise Patch)
- Government officials and community leaders gathered to formally open Boise's newest park dedicated to Cherie Buckner-Webb. Staff of KBCI-TV were also on hand for the ribbon cutting and have the story. (Idaho News)

Local history can be overly positive, focusing on the events and people that residents can be proud of, area businesses and governments want people to move here after all. However, these rosy histories are only partially true.
