Four-Plex Boise Fire Displaces Three Families
An early morning Monday fire forced three families to find alternative housing.

BOISE, ID — The Boise Fire Department knocked down a four-plex fire without injuries, but three families are looking for new living quarters.
The call of a fire arrived at 3:45 a.m. Monday morning. Upon arrival, crews found flames coming out the front of a four-plex on the 6500 block of Maxwell Lane.

Residents of the four-plex stated the flames were first noticed coming from garage in the building. Crews were able to contain the fire to the garage and the second floor of one of the apartments. Two other apartments sustained smoke damage.
The cause of the fire has been determined to be accidental and no injuries were reported.

Officials said the Boise Fire Local 149 Burnout Fund is helping the three families who were displaced because of the fire.
