Monday is the beginning of the week and the start of a new round of news for you. Are you ready to rise really early-the Spirit of Boise is coming. Monday sees the return of hot temps and smoky skies in the capital city. The Simplot Company is facing some fines and some local teachers are now drone pilots. Finally, a doctor has withdrawn his name from consideration for a board spot on central district health.

- Mark your calendars! The Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic is coming soon and the news staff of CBS2-TV is the exclusive partner of the event. (Idaho News)
- Also from CBS2-TV, Ariana Pyper tells us Monday will be hot-really hot. The temperature could reach 105 degrees and the smoke from all the wildfires around us is heading back into the valley. (Idaho News)
