Montessori Academy Students Donate $275 to Local Children’s Hospital

Montessori Academy students held a donation drive to benefit Boise Angels' Love Box program

Students at Montessori Academy Parkcenter in Boise recently held a donation drive to benefit St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital, which provides a wide range of specialty outpatient clinics and support services to children in need of treatment and care. Students worked together to raise $275 and collect a variety of items including books, clothes, stuffed animals, and more for children being treated at the hospital.

Montessori Academy instills a sense of social responsibility at an early age by implementing opportunities for students to learn about the importance of giving back to their communities and helping others in need. Teachers work with children to help recognize and label emotions in themselves and others, while learning how they fit into their community and the larger world.
