- Boise has some new Americans walking the streets of downtown. Scott Logan and KBOI-TV were present as 54 people took the oath and became citizens. (Idaho News)
- With the opening of school just around the corner in Boise, the Boise School District announced free breakfast, lunch and supper served in the district for all students regardless of eligibility status. (Press Release Desk)
- KTVB-TV's Tristan Lewis reports several Ada County Democrats are calling for a statewide protocol for the release of body camera footage. The request comes after the Ada County Prosecutor refused a request by Boise Mayor Lauren McLean to release footage. (KTVB.com)
- If your plans for the weekend included a trip to Cascade Reservoir, KIVI-TV's Izaak Anderson warns a public health advisory has been issued for the reservoir by Central District Health due to a Harmful Algal Bloom, also known as cyanobacteria. (6 On Your Side)
- Idaho Governor candidate Ammon Bundy has changed his mind on Black Lives Matter according to an article by Boise Weekly's Tracy Bringhurst. Quoting a story from The Gem State Patriot News, Bundy wrote, "Black Lives Matter is a wicked, Marxist, communist organization that deceives its members and destroys Black people’s lives."
