Incident near Timberline HS marks the third student to be hit by a car this week (kivitv.com) — A Boise student riding a bicycle was hurt in a collision with a car near Timberline High School on Boise Avenue, the third student struck by a vehicle in the Treasure Valley this week. Police say the teen suffered minor injuries and did not seek treatment, and they ruled the Boise crash an accident, while two separate incidents in Caldwell left students seriously injured and drivers facing charges.
   

2. Boise's tax rebate continues, applications open for eligible homeowners (idahonews.com) — Boise has set aside $900,000 to continue its 2025 Property Tax Rebate Program, offering extra relief in 2026 to homeowners who qualified for the state Circuit Breaker this year. As the only Idaho city with such a program, Boise will mail applications in early December, with forms due by March 31, 2026, including in-person submissions at the Dick Eardley Senior Center.
   

3. Sale of damaged Dry Creek Ranch home spawns web of lawsuits between Boise Hunter Homes, realtor, contractors and former owners (boisedev.com) — A high-dollar legal fight over a damaged Dry Creek Ranch home is pitting buyer, seller, builder Boise Hunter Homes, subcontractors, and an Eagle realtor against each other in Idaho courts. At issue are alleged undisclosed foundation and drainage problems, competing engineering reports, and a tangle of indemnity claims that could affect how future Boise-area new-home defects and disclosures are handled.
   

4. Boise neighbors band together to create an impressive web of Christmas lights at Rainy Place (kivitv.com) — A Boise cul-de-sac in Dry Creek Ranch has turned Rainy Place into a shared canopy of Christmas lights, with strands stretching from nearly every rooftop to a giant snowflake centerpiece. Neighbors say the project, inspired by a hand-drawn plan, has brought families together, created magical memories for kids, and turned their Boise Foothills street into a must-see holiday stop.
   

5. Assault in downtown Boise leads police to thefts at a construction site on Grove St. (idahonews.com) — Boise Police are investigating a series of thefts at a downtown construction site on Grove Street after an early-morning assault call led officers there. A suspect, identified by police as Geovonta Johnson, was arrested after allegedly hiding at the site and taking clothing items, and investigators are now looking into additional thefts connected to that location.
