Happy Friday, Boise! Here's everything you need to know going on in Boise today.

Welcome to the beginning of the weekend from the Boise Daily. The Garden City Police have released details and video from an April 13 officer-involved shooting. Masks are back at Boise State University while local school boards struggle with patrons on the mask issue. An electric scooter rider remains hospitalized and a Boise landmark has a new owner.

Here are the top stories today in Boise:

  1. KBOI-TV's Ryan L Morrison was in attendance as Garden City Police held a press conference Thursday to discuss the investigative findings and release the body camera footage of a fatal shooting from April 13. The names of the officers involved have not been released. (Idaho News)
  2. College students returning to Idaho four-year universities, including Boise State University, will be required to wear masks indoors and at outdoor events with large crowds. This includes Bronco football games. (Boise Patch)

  4. An electric scooter rider in downtown Boise has suffered life-threatening injuries after getting hit by a vehicle. Staff of KBOI-TV responded to the scene and have the story. (Idaho News)
