Two Occupants, One Fire Fighter Injured In House Fire
An early morning house fire sent three people to the hospital.

BOISE ID — Two residents of a Boise home remain hospitalized after a fire destroyed their home early Monday morning.
The Boise Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire in the ten thousand block of West Huntwood Dr. in Southwest Boise at 2:09 a.m., Monday morning.

Two adults, one male and one female, were transported to a local hospital with what appeared to be life-threatening injuries as a result of the house fire. Currently, there are no updates on their condition.
Three engines, one ladder truck, and a Battalion Chief arrived on scene within minutes to find a one-story, single-family home with extensive fire involvement on the front and one side of the home.
This incident was upgraded to a full first alarm assignment immediately after arrival adding two additional engines, a ladder truck, and Battalion Chief, along with two units from Ada County Paramedics. The fire destroyed most of the home, including a vehicle located in the attached carport. This fire was controlled by crews within three hours of arrival time.

One firefighter was taken to a local hospital and received stitches for a laceration and was later released. The cause of this fire is still under investigation.
