Here are the top stories today in Boise:

  1. After taking last Friday off, the trial of Lori Vallow Daybell was again in a Boise courtroom. EastIdahoNews reporter Nate Eaton writes Vallow Daybell's sister, Summer Shiflet, was present on Monday and is expected to take the stand for the prosecution. Rexburg Detective David Stubbs was on the witness stand in the morning, testifying a search warrant with Verizon resulted in 18 cell phones found on an account. Those same rings later show up in wedding photos of Vallow Daybell and Chad Daybell. Some of the afternoon testimony centers around numerous visits to different LDS temples in relation to the deaths of Vallow Daybell's children and Chad Daybell's first wife. (eastidahonews)
