• Ex-inmate turns prison dog program into career helping rescue animals (kivitv.com) — From right here in Meridian, David Hardy has turned a prison dog-training program into a full-time career helping rescue dogs find homes through Boise Bully Breed Rescue. After joining the PAWS program while incarcerated, he left prison in 2025 with a job already waiting and now manages the facility, mentors inmates in similar programs, and runs his own dog training business, Pawsitive Pathways Dog Training LLC.
