Deputies found a toddler inside the establishment who had a visible injury to the upper lip. A concerned citizen told deputies that the child’s father had entered the bar earlier and asked patrons to watch his child. A mother who heard loud banging in her kitchen found a man trying to break in before grabbing her toddler and fleeing. Though he was able to get inside, he eventually left through a window, and, bleeding, broke into another home, where police say he threw a 70-year-old man to the floor.
