The 32-year-old man picked the woman up at her home around 2 a.m. Sunday and brandished a gun as soon as she entered his vehicle, driving her to a second location, sexually assaulting her and threatening to kill her if she contacted police, before releasing her, according to authorities.

New Illinois Law Requires Full-Day Kindergarten By 2027-28
Pritzker signed House Bill 2396, which requires districts across the state to establish a full-day kindergarten program by the 2027-28 school year.
