Dog Killer Learns Her Sentence After 2024 Fatal Stabbing
Prosecutors say the 45-year-old was fighting with her boyfriend and swung a knife at others when witnesses tried to break up the altercation. She then fatally stabbed a dog that belonged to the owner of the home where she had been staying.
Burglary Suspect Dies In Shootout With Police: Cops
Officials say police responding to a burglary in progress chased the suspect on foot, and returned fire when the suspect shot at them.

Muddy Footprints, 'Commotion' Alert Resident To Burglar
Police were called to the house just before 12:30 p.m. after a resident got a notification that there was movement detected near one of the home's back doors and returned to check on the house. The resident told police he shouted when he got into the home and then heard "a commotion" on the second floor of the house, per a police report. He then exited the home.
Getaway Driver Guilty In String Of Bank Robberies
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, the duo worked together to rob banks, with Lee driving a getaway car and Lawler demanding cash inside the financial institution. The pair was charged in four suburban bank robberies that happened in 2021 and 2022.
