The dogs' owner said she met the man on a dating app, alleging that he killed her 2 dogs on separate occasions. A judge previously ordered him to pay her more than $160,000 to cover, among other things, veterinary bills, the purchase price of the dogs, and more than $13,000 in therapy costs.
