IL Lotto Player Wins $1.6 Million Jackpot
The winner snagged the prize by playing the lottery online.
ILLINOIS — One lottery player in Illinois is about $1.67 million richer after winning online with the FlastPlay game Ultimate Diamond Jackpot, the lottery announced Thursday.
“This is the ninth player to win $1 million or more with Ultimate Diamond Jackpot since its launch in May of last year,” the lottery said in a news release.
Ultimate Diamond Jackpot is a progressive jackpot game. The jackpot begins at $75,000 and grows with each ticket sold statewide until it is won.

The Illinois Lottery offers 35 FastPlay games at various price points and play styles. Tickets can be purchased in-store, online or on the Illinois Lottery app.
