TAYLORVILLE, IL — A newlywed prison guard from Illinois is charged after his wife died in a fall from the seventh floor of a parking garage near St. Louis' Busch Stadium. Bradley Jenkins, 30, of Taylorville and his wife, 27-year-old Allissa Martin, had been married less than two weeks when she fell to her death after the couple attended a St. Louis Cardinals game.

Police told St. Louis' KMOV that they responded to the Stadium East parking garage after receiving an emergency call at around 1:45 a.m. Sunday to find Martin's body lying on the ramp. Officers saw Jenkins, who was covered in blood, straddling his wife's body.

Police said Martin had recorded an argument between herself and her husband prior to falling to her death. Her cellphone was found, still recording, on the seventh floor of the parking garage, where police believe she dropped it.
