Lawsuit Filed After Ambulance Crash
The lawsuit claims the ambulance driver — just 19 years old despite a fire district rule mandating that ambulance drivers be at least 20 — disregarded a stop sign and entered the intersection without slowing down. Officials said the ambulance was carrying a patient and a relative at the time of the crash.
Threatening Comment On LGBTQ+ Facebook Page Nets Hate Crime Charge For WI Man
Using his real name, he made a Facebook comment that included hateful, derogatory language and slurs, which advocated for violence against members of the LGBTQ+ community, authorities said. He's since been extradited to Illinois.

'We Share Your Frustration:' Park District Reacts To Teen Takeover At Pool That Drew 200+ Youths
Hundreds of teens stormed the pool, with authorities saying some were drinking alcohol, smoking cannabis and lighting off fireworks. One teen, accused of lighting fireworks from a moving vehicle, was arrested.

"The fact that they are masked, and often unidentified, and in unmarked vans is really scary," one resident said. "It's a clear difference from our own police, who are unmasked, in clearly marked cars and who are obviously here to serve and protect. ICE is not, and as far as I'm concerned, they're basically invading our neighborhoods."

Police said the interior of the business was found heavily damaged. Cash registers had been thrown from the counter, food and beverages were thrown across the store, and furniture and coffee pots were overturned.

Federal prosecutors say he made more than 100 phone calls to FEMA employees after applying for disaster assistance for a flooded vehicle, and escalated to threatening a mass shooting, and threatening to kill police and FEMA employees.
