Mostly Dry Week Ahead, Temps In The 70s For Chicago Area

Seasonable temperatures will continue this week, with a chance of showers on Monday and on Tuesday night, according to the National Weather Service.

After that "dry weather is expected to prevail through Friday," the weather service said.

Monday will have a high of 76 degrees, and there is about a 20 percent chance of rain during the day. There is also a chance of showers on Tuesday night, especially for north of Interstate 80, according to the weather service.

Temperatures look to remain in the 70s all week, with the warmest day on Friday with a high of 79 degrees. There is then a chance of storms on Friday night, according to the current forecast.
