Murder-Suicide As Woman Stabbed, Man Takes Own Life: Police
Police responded late Saturday morning to a report of a woman being stabbed in the street, finding the 35-year-old mother with multiple stab wounds. Her estranged husband was found in the driveway with self-inflicted stab wounds, police said. The couple's 3-year-old son was in the home and was unharmed, according to police.

Son Dies In House Fire; Mother Survives: Police
Deputies who arrived at the fire spoke to the homeowner, a 63-year-old woman who escaped the blaze but told authorities her 44-year-old son was still inside and was trying to get out, according to police. The man was found inside the home and, despite lifesaving measures, he was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
17-Year-Old Dead, 2 Critically Hurt In Late-Night Crash: Police
Marko Niketic was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, and two passengers were critically injured in the crash late Sunday night. The driver of the second vehicle involved was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
2 Teens Shot On Porch, Girl Airlifted To Loyola: Police
A 16-year-0ld girl is fighting for her life at Loyola University Medical Center after she and a 16-year-old boy were both shot on the front porch of a house Saturday night, police said.
3 Hospitalized In Slingshot Crash, Driver Cited: Police
A 44-year-old Polaris Slingshot driver crashed into a Nissan Altima this weekend, leaving himself and two other people hospitalized with serious injuries, police said.
Harley-Davidson Rider Seriously Injured In Wreck
Police said the driver of a Toyota turned left in the path of the motorcycle, seriously injuring its driver. The Toyota driver was cited for failure to yield turning left and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
