Rain Possible Through Mid-Week, Cooler Temps Expected For Chicago Area
The coolest day of the week looks like it will be Wednesday, which has a forecasted high of 57 degrees.

Cooler temperatures will prevail this week, as most of the week looks to have highs in the 60s, according to the National Weather Service.
"Dry, breezy and milder conditions" are expected Monday before rain is possible on Monday night. Rain will be mainly near and north of Interstate 80.
The weather service said there will be additional "showery periods" on Tuesday and Wednesday, as well as breezy conditions. Winds may gust as high as 35 mph on Tuesday.

Right now, the current forecast is calling for a high of 57 degrees on Oct. 31, and it will be mostly sunny, according to AccuWeather.

MONDAY: Sunny, with a high near 66. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
MONDAY NIGHT: A 50 percent chance of showers, mainly before 1 a.m. Increasing clouds, with a low around 47. South wind 10 to 15 mph becoming west after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.
TUESDAY: A 30 percent chance of showers after 1 p.m. Increasing clouds, with a high near 56. Breezy, with a west southwest wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.
TUESDAY NIGHT: A 30 percent chance of showers before 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny, with a high near 52. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear, with a low around 37.
THURSDAY: Sunny, with a high near 55.
THURSDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear, with a low around 36.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny, with a high near 59.
FRIDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44.
