Scattered Showers, Cooler Weekend Expected For The Chicago Area
The weather service said temperatures will be near to just below average for this time of year, and it will be coolest near Lake Michigan.
ILLINOIS — A cooler, possibly rainy weekend is forecast for the Chicago area, as highs of 60 degrees are expected, according to the National Weather Service.
Friday will be the mildest, with a high of 69 degrees, and scattered showers will move in later in the day, the weather service said.
"Conditions will be cooler over the weekend with a few shower chances passing through," the weather service said on its Facebook.

Both Saturday and Sunday feature the chance for scattered showers, and a high of 60 degrees. Winds may also be as high as 25 mph on Saturday and Sunday.

As we enter the work week, temperatures look to get warmer with a high of 62 on Monday, 72 on Tuesday and 69 on Wednesday.
