MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — A man was taken to the hospital following a rollover crash near Marengo on Thursday morning, authorities said. The collision happened at about 9:20 a.m. on Thursday in the area of Kishwaukee Valley Road and Oleson Road in unincorporated Marengo, according to a news release from the Marengo Fire Protection District. A sports utility vehicle collided with a tree, and the male driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries that are not considered life-threatening. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
