ALGONQUIN, IL — The Village of Algonquin is hiring an accountant to work for the General Services Administration Department. The position starts at nearly $65,000 annually.
According to the village's website, the accountant will be responsible for processing cash receipts, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, payroll, utility billing and lots more.
The accountant will be expected to keep with the latest accounting standards, GASB pronouncements, village policies and procedures and accounting system modifications.

The position pays between $64,931.14 and $77,145.44.
To be hired, a candidate must have a bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in accounting, three years of governmental fund accounting experience and being a CPA is desirable.
