Algonquin Resident Thankful For Local Conservation Groups Growing Community Impact

Algonquin, IL — Thanksgiving is the perfect time to pause and reflect on what brings us joy — from family and friends to meaningful traditions and everyday moments. This year, Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to spotlight the thankful moments that bring our communities together.

What are you most thankful for this year?

The Algonquin Garden Club and Friends of Dundee Natural Areas

Why does this mean so much to you?

We are all enthusiastic about our native plants, trees and ecosystem.

How has this made a difference in your 2025?

We have been working on planting a mini forest for two years and our project came to fruition on October 25, which we could not have accomplished without the hard work and determination of our groups.
