Barrington Man Gets Prison Time For Possessing Child Porn
Anthony Demonte, 50, pleaded guilty Thursday to solicitation of child pornography.

BARRINGTON, IL — A 50-year-old man has been sentenced to eight years in prison for possession of child pornography.
Anthony Demonte was taken into custody in June 2023 after investigators determined he downloaded and shared sexually explicit video and images of children under the age of 13 years old via social media, according to a news release from Cook County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators completed a forensic analysis on his cell phone and revealed he solicited several pornographic videos of underage boys and girls engaging in sexual conduct with other children and adults, according to a news release.

Demonte pleaded guilty Thursday to solicitation of child pornography and was sentenced to eight years in prison. He was also ordered to serve three years of mandatory supervised release and must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
