Bomb Threat Forces Evacuation of Walmart
The Kane County Bomb Squad found no explosive devices in the store Monday.
A bomb threat to the Algonquin Walmart forced police to evacuate the store Monday, according to the Northwest Herald.

At about 9:50 a.m. Monday, Oct. 20, a caller told employees at the store at 1410 S. Randall Road that a bomb was on site, the report stated. Algonquin police and the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District cordoned off the area, and the Kane County Bomb Squad searched the store with a K-9 unit, the report added.

No explosive devices were found, and the law enforcement cleared the scene at around 1:25 p.m., the report stated.
Officials are investigating who made the call and why, the report stated.
