KANE COUNTY, IL — A Carpentersville man accused of shared child pornography through a private chat on an online social media platform now faces felony charges in Kane County.

Jason Grabowski has been charged with four counts of dissemination of child pornography and four counts of possession of child pornography in Kane County Circuit Court. He is accused of sharing multiple videos and photos of child sexual abuse materials through a private chat on an online social media platform.

Grabowski has been released from jail following his initial court hearing. He has been ordered not to have any unsupervised contact with minors under the age of 18 years old or to access any device that can access the internet, according to authorities.
