Melonie I. Heath, 49, of Algonquin

Melonie I. Heath, 49, of Algonquin, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013.

She was born Dec. 23, 1963, in Elgin, the daughter of Harold and Mary (Botts) Thiel.

Melonie was an animal lover.

She is survived by her children, Jesse (fiancee Emily) Gann of Green Bay, Wis., and Jeffrey Heath of Algonquin.

Also surviving are her sisters, Bonnie Lamprecht of Algonquin, Kristie (Val) Thompson of Elgin and Tracie (David) Clardy of Guntown, Miss. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Sally Weideman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, John Weideman; and her sister, Terrie Thiel.

The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Dr., McHenry. 

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Woodstock.
