Newest Algonquin Grocery Store Set To Open Next Month

ALGONQUIN, IL — The Fresh Market is expected to open soon at the Algonquin Commons, village officials told Patch last month.

Patrick Knapp, community development department director for the village of Algonquin, said the grocery store is anticipating a March 15 opening date.

• Fresh Market Coming To Algonquin Commons

Fresh Market will be located near Half-Price books at the Commons. Construction has been underway at several empty stores as Fresh Market inches closer to its opening date. The Algonquin store will be the seventh Fresh Market location in Illinois.

The grocer also has stores in Chicago, Geneva, Wilmette, Naperville, Lake Forest and Crystal Lake.
