Owner Of Popular Mexican Restaurant Dies

Ursula Richardson turned her parent's former restaurant into El Molino Mexican Restaurant. She has died at age 66.

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — A Lake in the Hills woman who grew up helping out at her parent's restaurant, Dog 'n Suds, before she converted it into and ran it as El Molino Mexican Restaurant, has died.

Ursula Richardson died at age 66 years old at JourneyCare in Barrington with her family by her side, according to her obituary. Richardson had a strong passion for baseball, especially the Chicago Cubs, and was also a big fan of Elvis.

"She loved dancing and listening to Elvis, her house was even decorated floor to ceiling in Elvis memorabilia," according to her obituary. She leaves behind her husband, Anthony "Tony" Richardson; her children, Karina G. Soto and Elliot (Katie) S. Sotoa; and her grandchildren, Quinn and Cruz Zotoa and Theodore Larson.

She is remembered as being a devoted mother and grandmother who "you could always catch on the phone staying in touch with family and friends."

Her visitation will be held on Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1415 W. Algonquin Road. Eulogies will begin at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Institute for Cancer Research.
