Scorched Earth Brewing Company in Algonquin Received Illinois Made Honor

Travelers can now get an inside look on the best of Illinois’ on-trend experiences through a new ongoing program called Illinois Made. Throughout the summer months, The Illinois Department of Commerce’s Office of Tourism will share in-depth videos, exclusive web content, and Illinois Made-inspired travel ideas. McHenry County’s Scorched Earth Brewing Company of Algonquin was awarded an “Illinois Made” designation from Cory Jobe, Director of the Office of Tourism, on July 21, 2016.
“The team at Scorched Earth is honored and humbled to receive the Illinois Made Award,” said Mike and Jennifer Dallas. “To us, this award is a symbol of not only our hard work and the quality product we provide, but our passion to work with other local artisans like Ethereal Confections and Heider's Berry Farm, to showcase their quality ingredients.”
