Search For Eagles Along Fox River This Weekend
Wildlife experts will be out along the Fox River this weekend helping local residents spot eagles.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — For those hoping to spot an eagle, this weekend might be your chance.
Representatives from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Friends of Hackmatack Wildlife Refuge, Illinois Department of Natural Resources and McHenry County Audubon will be on hand at dams along the Fox River Saturday to help local residents search for eagles.
The "In Search for Eagles" program, hosted by the McHenry County Conservation District, is free and will run from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the McHenry Dam, Algonquin Dam, Carpentersville Dam and Lake Geneva Dam.
