Tickets Go On Sale Next Week For Massive Jack O'Lantern Festival

LAKE ZURICH, IL — Tickets will soon be up for grabs for Jack O'Lantern World in Lake Zurich.

The event, which claims to be one of the largest, "if not THE largest," in the United States will be back in September and tickets will be on sale starting on Sept. 4, according to a news release from Jack O'Lantern World.

The event at Paulus Park, 215 S. Rand Road, opens on September 27 and will run through Oct. 27 on every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, according to a news release. The fest will include 5,000 hand-carved pumpkins, including pumpkins weighing more than 1,000 pounds that will take part in the event's pumpkin weigh-off U.S. National Championship.

The event will also showcase the world's largest friendly ghost, a 5K run/walk, a fun zone with giant inflatable and glowing mini golf and a pirate ship light show.
