Today: September 11th, Always a Day to Remember
It's been 12 years since the attacks on the World Trade Center and Washington D.C.

It's hard to believe 12 years have passed since the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York, the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. and Shanksville, Pa., when nearly 3,000 people were killed.
So much has changed for our country over the past decade. So many more lives have been lost in the war on terrorism that followed the attacks.
Whether through formal ceremony, or in one's own private thoughts, today is a day to remember the victims - the innocent office workers who were just starting their day that morning on Sept. 11, 2001; the firefighters who ran into the building as everyone else ran out; and the flight crews and airline passengers who were taken hostage with no chance for escape.
It's the day to remember the service men and women who continue to fight terrorism with the hopes our country never falls prey to another senseless attack.
It's also a day to our honor our country's hope, resilience and the strength to move on.
