Vehicle Found On Fire Inside Building On Pyott Road

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — A vehicle was found on fire inside a building on Pyott Road Monday afternoon, authorities said.

The Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department was called to the blaze at 8713 Pyott Road at about 5 p.m. for a report of heavy smoke coming from the structure, according to a news realize. When firefighters got inside the building, they found a vehicle on fire.

Fire crews put the blaze out and began to air the building out, according to the news release.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
