Weather for the Week: Hot!

The hot temperatures are expected to continue at the beginning of this week but will drop off as we go into next weekend. 

Here is a look at this week's forecast for Crystal Lake: 

• Monday: Cloudy, then becoming mostly sunny with a high of 89. Wind gusts could reach as high as 20 mph. 
• Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 92. Wind gusts could reach as high as 20 mph. 
• Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high of 83. A 30 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms. 
• Thursday: Sunny with a high of 78. 
• Friday: Sunny with a high near 66. 
• Saturday: Sunny with a high near 71.
