Worker, 20, Dies After Being Hit By Car In Huntley: Police
Authorities said Joesph Zephries was taken to Northwestern Hospital in Huntley after he was hit by the car in Huntley Monday.
HUNTLEY, IL — A 20-year-old man who was working along Main Street in Huntley on Monday was hit by a car and later died, authorities said.
Authorities said Joesph Zephries was taken to Northwestern Hospital in Huntley after he was hit by the car in the area of Main Street and Coyne Station at a bout 3:10 p.m. on Monday, according to a news release from the Huntley Police Department.
He later died from his injuries, police said Tuesday.

Police say the vehicle, a 2013 Kia Forte driven by a 27-year-old Chicago man, was headed east on Main Street when it hit Zephries. At the time, Zephries was working on the south shoulder of the road completing utility line location services with USIC.
Police say the driver is cooperating with the investigation, and it does not appear that drugs or alcohol were a factor in the incident.
